I guess it's the only place I'd be interested in my stay in Taipei and in Taiwan.

As a little town in the Northeast of Taipei Province, Jioufen（九份） shares an exceptional seaview as well as hillside landscape.

Jioufen literally means "nine portions" in Chinese; the place is named after nine families stayed in that place. In the past, Jioufen was infamous of gold digging, which had been named as "Little Hong Kong". The place is now revived by the recent Chinese media coverage because of its exotic environment.

I'd never imagine I could dwell in such a place in Jioufen.

Si's House and Teahouse is the first "minsu" ("family-owned guesthouse" in Chinese, a Taiwanese popular hostelry style) in Jioufen; it is also the first Baroque-style house, with a 360-degree seaview, in the area. With owners' heartly creative design, rooms are now decorated in a melange of traditional Japanese and modern Chinese style.

Si's welcomes both single traveler and multiple travelers, where both private suites and rooms with shared bathrooms are available.

After getting off at Ruifang Train Station from Taipei, take 825 or 827 minibus to the center of Jiufen. Walk through the most popular alley of street market, and we are on the way after turning your forth corner.
